Please Stop Moving

Please stop moving. New York is the 10th highest location in the world with confirmed cases. In a few days the United States will be the most infectious place on the planet. Most of you never took a stand for something in your life and it shows.

For once in your life stand up and sit your ass in your house for a few days. This is not a joke. Stop comparing this to other outbreaks. There is a reason why the health experts sounded the alarm for this one and not the others.

If left unchecked this will kill hundreds of thousands across the globe if not millions. Continuing to spread false information is reckless and irresponsible. The more you spread the less likely people will take this serious. Remember it took the world two months to take this threat serious. Imagine what this place will look like in another two months.

China and South Korea took this threat serious and are now recovering from the fallout. We have yet to reach the fallout. If you don’t care about yourself that’s fine, but many people have those who are in the high risk category in their life who they care deeply for. Even if a person in the high risk category is without loved ones, we owe a civic duty to them and to the rest of the population.

There are nearly 70 million people who are 60 or older in this country. I am not sure about those who have underlying conditions but I am willing to bet this isn’t the time people want to find out if they are in that category. Please stop moving.
